Salvaged Doors Repurposed
If you haven't already noticed, there's something about salvaging and repurposing that really excites me! Check out these new takes on old doors! Get this look with decoupage and old wallpaper. We sold sugru at Maker Faire San Mateo and due to the overwhelming response, we now have it online in the Maker Shed ! For those that don’t know, sugru is an air curable rubber with millions of uses. It molds like Play-Dough, cures within 24 hours, sticks to nearly anything, and is abnormally tough. I used it to fix my aging MagSafe connector then became addicted. Next, I added some to my space pen (it kept sliding out of my pocket) and a guitar pick (for extended Rocksmith sessions).

December 2nd, 2012 in member junk ShareThis 9 users recommend I've always wanted a life-size nutcracker... a little too much money for me so I decided to make my own...We were cleaning out the one of the old buildings on our property and I came across this old bed, when I threw it on the back of the truck I seen a nutcracker..I know weird huh!!! What a fun project...All it took was, a tin can, an old bucket, some lamp parts, paint, and a vision of a nutcracker and there he was standing on my porch ready for the season to begin... I've put a vintage bingo cage, with bingo balls, in the form for it's belly (there is also a bird on a spit in the cage).
