Heinemann/Viehweger grenzen den Begriff Textsorte als "Alltagsklassifikation" vom Terminus Texttyp als "theoriebezogene Kategorie zur wissenschaftlichen Klassifikation von Texten" ab (Heinemann/Viehweger 1991: 144).
