Suomen henkinen ilmapiiri on noin puolessa vuosikymmenessä muuttunut täydellisesti. En keksi itse sille parempaa termiä kuin kommunismi, koska piirteet, ominaisuudet ja tunnusmerkit ovat niin samanlaisia. Tällä ilmapiirillä tarkoitan vain yhden totuuden julistamista, totalitarismia, demokratian halveksimista ja sitä, että erilaisuutta pelätään tai ainakaan sitä ei hyväksytä. Jotta väitteeni ei jäisi pelkäksi puheeksi, esitän joukon kommunistisen yhteiskunnan olennaisimpia piirteitä ja kommentoin vastaavasti tilannetta Suomessa. Kommunismissa valtaa pitävässä hallituksessa istuu kommunistinen puolue.

We're missing a tremendous opportunity. We're asleep at the switch because it's not a metaphor. In 1945 we actually did create a new universe.

A new study, from the Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) Early Grade Retention and Student Success: Evidence from Los Angeles , has some public officials wondering if it is time to revisit the practice of retention. It shouldn’t. Retention is the name given to the practice of repeating an entire grade level.
Clozes, also known as “gap-fills” or “fill-in-the-blanks,” are short texts with blanks. Students have to “fill in” what they believe to be the missing words. They are excellent tools for assessing reading comprehension and vocabulary development. We use them several times a year as a formal formative assessment. In addition, we use them at other times to help students develop skills in using context clues for understanding meaning (as well as opportunities for them to learn new information about the content). When we’re using them during these non-assessment times, though, the real value is in having students explain “why” they chose each word to complete the passage.
