Alright, I've finally had the time to "screen print" another shirt, so here's the tutorial... Materials needed: a t-shirt, yucky/cheap paint brushes, an embroidery hoop, screen printing ink (I use Speedball brand), a glue that isn't water-soluble (I use Mod Podge), curtain sheer material/tulle/old nylons, and a computer with a printer (or a good hand for drawing things).

( I'm sure had I found a pendant kit with a smaller socket I could have skipped this step and simply changed out the globe with the glass insulator.But a lighting kit with a small socket could not be found in my small town.)

there's so much out there on the internet for diy, repurposing, and how-to's, but these 10 sites really stack up on top. i've come across many, many projects that have come from these sites. instructables is especially awesome, with user generated content in a variety of fields, from technology to the outdoors. i encourage everyone to take a look into these places! especially if you have your own project in mind but aren't sure how to do it, chances are you will find it in one of these spots.
I think that bedrooms are my favorite room to make over. There are so many quick and easy things you can do in a bedroom that can make a big difference.
