Three Versions of Judas - Jorge Luis BOrges
In Asia Minor or in Alexandria, in the second century of our faith (when Basilides was announcing that the cosmos was a rash and malevolent improvisation engineered by defective angels), Nils Runeberg might have directed, with a singular intellectual passion, one of the Gnostic monasteries. Dante would have destined him, perhaps, for a fiery sepulcher; his name might have augmented the catalogues of heresiarchs, between Satornibus and Carpocrates; some fragment of his preaching, embellished with invective, might have been preserved in the apocryphal Liber adversus omnes haereses or might have perished when the firing of a monastic library consumed the last example of the Syntagma . Instead, God assigned him to the twentieth century, and to the university city of Lund. There, in 1904, he published the first edition of Kristus och Judas ; there, in 1909, his masterpiece Dem hemlige Frälsaren appeared.Laboratory of Exercise Biochemistry and Neuroendocrinology, University of Tsukuba Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan. Brain glycogen could be a critical energy source for brain activity when the glucose supply from the blood is inadequate (hypoglycaemia). Although untested, it is hypothesized that during prolonged exhaustive exercise that induces hypoglycaemia and muscular glycogen depletion, the resultant hypoglycaemia may cause a decrease in brain glycogen.

Theatre of the Absurd - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Theatre of the Absurd ( French : Théâtre de l'Absurde ) is a designation for particular plays of absurdist fiction written by a number of primarily European playwrights in the late 1960s, as well as one for the style of theatre which has evolved from their work. Their work expressed the belief that human existence has no meaning or purpose and therefore all communication breaks down. Logical construction and argument gives way to irrational and illogical speech and to its ultimate conclusion, silence. [ 1 ] Critic Martin Esslin coined the term "Theatre of the Absurd" in his 1960 essay and, later, book of the same name.Music

Anton Krupicka explores the island of New Zealand and shares amazing photos. RT blogger Nate Jenkins has been running and racing well, and he found a new sponsor RT blogger Buzz Burrell waxes about his experience at the Moab Red Hot trail races This twentysomething upstart could be on the verge of a breakthrough yearI found that interesting and wanted to share it for several reasons. 1) People often assume that these "elites" must run fast day in and day out, yet the more research you do, the more you find that those who actually do train hard every day are more of an anomaly than those who run moderately day to day with specified hard workouts and just consistent, solid distance work. 2) Notice that the better part of his mileage is done at paces that are quite easy for him to handle. I added up and about 110km of his 190km a week are done at paces equivalent to or slower than 3:53/km and 6:15/mile. Of the remaining 80km of his training, 42km are at 5:40-5:50 pace, only 15km at about 3:12/km or 5:08/mile pace, and 12km (broken into segments as interval work) at 2:50/km or 4:33/mile pace.
