In my school the use of smart-phones is not permitted because some students use them to play during the lessons, to make inappropriate photos or videos, or to use them for “inspiration” during tests. That's why teachers must set very clear rules, and observe very carefully how students use tablets during classes. A big challenge for the teachers is also what to do when students are not following the rules, even more challenging then setting the rules.

A big challenge by the Maths classes is time. The curriculum is very big, students have important exams to prepare, so there is no much time for activities, teachers should very well think and integrate tablets activities in the curriculum, so as students to benefit and to be helped by these activities.
