Since we LOVE braids around here, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use her shiny brown hair to show you how to do this quick one. It’s similar to the waterfall braid, but much faster and less confusing. Start this like a regular braid, but drop the top piece through to the bottom and leave it there.Gently twist the 2 pieces you’re left with upward.Add a new 3rd piece in between + drop it through.Twist again and repeat. I recently recreated that braid and took a couple photos so you could see it up close. Here’s the very simple secret to this braid: In a regular braid there are 3 strands. For this look, all you do is braid one of those strands beforehand and loosen it up with your fingers, then braid as usual. TIPPED OUT. Here I’ve replicated the process for you in 7 steps on an extension. While I never recommend bleaching out the ends of your hair at home, if you want to do the fun colors yourself, maybe get the tips bleached out by a pro + then play with the temporary colors on your own.

The best things about this color– you’re able to hide it in a bun for work if you need to, AND you’re only doing a couple of inches on the bottom so it won’t kill you to cut it off if you get over it quickly. TOOLS: highlighting comb, clips, foils, color brush, hair bleach with the appropriate volume (always seek a professional when using bleach), light pink color, dark pink color, light blue, dark blue, clear gloss. Step 1 Highlight the tips of the hair using hair bleach with the correct volume. Step 3 Shampoo and lightly condition bleach out of the hair. THE EVERY DAY WAVE. Follow these easy steps to get Lauren’s every day wave: • Tools: protective serum or argon oil, 1″ barrel curling iron, light hold hairspray, comb. • Work a small amount of protective serum through the ends of your hair. • Using a 1″ barrell curling iron, curl sections of hair away from your face. • (The section of your hair should be comparable to the size of the curling iron) • Comb through curls to soften them up.
