I swear my dog [the smart one, not the dumb one] could draw something more grand. Worst part is when dads try to show it off. Oh boy. Hey check out what my boy drew me for Christmas. *cricket* *cricket* Awkward isn't it? Very. But I admit, I'm one of those dads.
Every dad probably is. Unless you don't have a heart. I'm not kidding. How amazing is it when you kid makes/draws/buys you something! The crazy part is we know its coming and we know its not 'worth much' in the grand scheme of things but yet we still delight in it. For Fathers day this year my daughter bought me something using my money. Add the fact that she has a not so good hand writing and you've got quite a 'messy' gift.
But you know what? The best part was the look on her face. She didn't care that it was my money. She just gave it her best then she enjoyed that I enjoyed it. If so, guess what?
