My high school students know that I rely very little on our textbooks. I hand them out at the beginning of the school year because I have to, but other than as a last-resort reference, most of my classes use them minimally throughout the year. Why do this? Blender 2.57

The Blender Foundation and online developer community is proud to present Blender 2.57a. This is the first stable release of the Blender 2.5 series, representing the culmination of many years of redesign and development work. We name this version "Stable" not only because it's mostly feature complete, but especially thanks to the 1000s of fixes and feature updates we did since the 2.5 beta versions were published. http://www.blender.org/development/release-logs/blender-257/

But WrestleMania has an aura about it, primarily because of epic matches like Hulk Hogan vs.

The Darwin Awards

February 2012. Homo sapiens sapiens on the verge of Extinction! This week the Darwin Awards presents an Italian performance artist who made the plastic bag a centerpiece of an ill-fated video. A South Carolina USA man took a "swan dive" out of the gene pool as he jumped between cruise ship levels. Plus a cameo Honorable Mention featuring the common kitchen spice, cinnamon!
