Some parishes may wish to shorten the long green season after Pentecost and begin using the Advent color two Sundays earlier. The most popular today by far is Dispensationalism. However, "popular" does not necessarely mean "Biblically correct"; but just what it says: "popular". [DISP] May be Arminian or modified Calvinist. *There is an unfortunate tendancy to translated the word "ecclesia" with the word church, when it can very well be translated "assembly", which would make more sense in the OT version of it.

[NCT] Same as Dispensationalism. *We think some of the old Dispensationalists did believe in a Covenant of Redemption within the Trinity, but we are not sure and I don't know about the new modified Dispensationalists.
