Les stylistes sélectionnés pour le 27ème Festival International de Mode et de Photographie à Hyères, ont été invités par Première Vision Paris. Ils ont pu, pendant trois jours, choisir des tissus pour leur collection dans le Salon. Le Prix Première Vision est doté d’une bourse de création et sera remis le dimanche 29 avril. Le Lauréat se verra offrir une présence événementielle sur le Salon de septembre 2012.

**EDIT** This post was originally published on 29th March but was taken down due to a possible clash with a printed publication. Naughty me. That's a slap on the wrist. It's going back up now with the original comments. As ever, timing isn't my strongpoint as I'm now currently in Hong Kong for a family wedding but blogging about my brief jaunt to Barcelona and Madrid for Loewe last week. I'm thinking I'll need to make a little avatar for the sidebar giving you an indication of where in the world I am, prefereably with little exploding flags popping up over my animated head.

On the surface, Ryan McNamara's latest exhibitions looks like a bizarre collaboration between Jim Shaw and Ryan Trecartin with floating heads and hyper-expressive characters. McNamara deftly presents his chaotic vision through a mixed media installation which serves as an ongoing performance within the gallery. For the initial weeks of the show, McNamara interacted with visitors and used this fluid collaboration to cull material and images.
