Loaded M&M Oreo Cookie Bars. Loaded M&M Oreo Cookie Bars If you like Oreos and M&Ms, these are the bars for you. Is there anyone who doesn’t like Oreos and M&Ms? I hope not. Or you may be reading the wrong blog. These bars came to be because I was preparing to move and in an effort to clean out my pantry, I started grabbing things that looked like they’d work together. Half-eaten package of Oreos. A small bag of M&Ms that appear to have most of the reds and browns picked out. A stick of butter, 1 egg, 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1 cup flour. And if you do, you can make these in 5 minutes without a mixer and they’re ready in a half hour. If you don’t have Oreos or M&Ms, shop in your own pantry for what you do have. You get the point. I’m a big believer in uncluttering my pantry by making odds-and-ends bars every chance I get. I used my easy, no-mixer, go-to blondie recipe that has served me so well over the years, and I adapted it this time by stirring in chopped Oreos and sprinkling on M&Ms.

My children love this cake. I’m guessing a lot of other people do too, and that’s how it got its name. It certainly is yummy, and it’s a pretty impressive dessert for being so simple to put together. I started by mixing together a box of chocolate cake mix and the ingredients it asks for on the package. Once the cake batter was mixed, I got another bowl and mixed together some ricotta cheese (There’s the ‘Italian’ part.) , eggs, sugar and vanilla together. I got out a 9×13 inch pan and sprayed it with nonstick spray. Then, I popped it into the oven, and that’s where the magic happens. As the cake bakes, the layers switch places! That big crack in the middle of the cake didn’t worry me in the least, because once the cake was cool, I got to work on my frosting.

The frosting is simply chocolate pudding folded into Cool Whip. I spread the frosting all over the top of the cake, and then it went to hang out in the fridge for the rest of the day. Ooey Gooey Rocky Road Cookies. Ever since the idea of rocky road cookies popped into my head a month ago, I have been tweaking recipe after recipe so I could come up with a cookie extraordinary enough to be posted on my website. …because let me tell you, I don’t post ANYTHING on here that I don’t think is COMPLETELY scrapeworthy and delicious). These cookies are complete ooey gooey chocolate goodness (I mean, flourless chocolate goods usually are). And the marshmallows on top are all crispy and golden brown on the edges and gooey in the middle. Just like if you roasted them on a fire! You might be wondering why we don’t just mix the marshmallows into the batter, and the reason is they sort of melt and disappear that way.

The golden brown crispy shelled marshmallows on top make this cookie truly incredible and rocky road-esque. Copyright Notice: Fifteen Spatulas images and original content are copyright protected. 17 flourless dessert ideas. Every year, I see Passover-friendly recipes that frighten me: brick-like honey cakes, “sponge” cakes that still haunt my mother (who receives these in lieu of birthday cakes most years, due to the misfortune of having a birthday that falls in the first week of April), dinner rolls that my father likens to “hockey pucks” and macaroons that nobody (besides me) likes. And every year, I wonder: what ever happened to impossible-to-hate flourless chocolate cakes and truffles? Desserts lifted with egg whites? Ground nuts instead of flour? Do people even realize that one of the most popular peanut butter cookies on earth has exactly no flour in it? Well, you know what I say? Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter Chocolate, and Double Chocolate Fudge Cookie Dough Dips. I have this little flaw, and it’s called impatience. Okay, it’s a huge flaw. Massive. Enormous. I attribute this to growing up in the internet generation and getting everything likerightthisverysecond. Admitting you have a problem is the first step, right? Instead of cooking dinner, I belted “I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas” eight times until I got the perfect, whiny voice.

And grew more impatient by the second, so much so that my finger was pulsating over the publish button at 8:45. For instance… peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough dip. And double chocolate fudge cookie dough dip. Even creamy snickerdoodle cookie dough dip. I wish I could pick a favorite. Except right now it’s that stupid hippopotamus song. I started by making a normal-sized batch of cookie dough dip, then separated the mixture into three equal parts – going a little heavy-handed on the snickerdoodle dip portion since it wouldn’t have any extras added in like peanut butter or cocoa powder.

French Toast Roll-ups. We had a rough weekend. Without getting into too much detail, my baby girl had a stomach bug and my husband had food poisoning from a local fast food joint.

Our washing machine was on overload. After a full day out of commission I joked to my husband that he might have to cancel his golf tee time the following day.
