Miniature Art on the Tip of Pencil by Dalton Ghetti. Many artists have used pencils to create works of art – but Dalton Ghetti creates miniature masterpieces on the tips of pencils.

Dalton, who works as a carpenter, has been making his tiny graphite works for about 25 years. A sculpture of Elvis Presley wearing shades, carved from a single pencil. The 49-year-old said: “At school I would carve a friend’s name into the wood of a pencil and then give it to them as a present. Later, when I got into sculpture, I would make these huge pieces from things like wood, but decided I wanted to challenge myself by trying to make things as small as possible. I experimented sculpting with different materials, such as chalk, but one day I had an eureka moment and decided to carve into the graphite of a pencil” A tiny saw, using both the wood and graphite of a single pencil Dalton uses three basic tools to make his incredible creations – a razor blade, sewing needle and sculpting knife.

Amazing and wonderful hyper-realist painting. Hyperrealism is a genre of painting and sculpture that resembles a high-resolution photos. With high accuracy, and patience in order to clear the picture looks more like a photograph. They take advantage of additional, often subtle, elements of the picture to create the illusion of reality. Although basically photography, often requires a focus more delicate and more complex the problem is described, presenting as a real object of living.

Objects and scenery in the Hyperrealism paintings and sculptures are carefully detailed to create the illusion of a new reality that is not visible in the original photo. But it does not mean that they are real, as the illusion is a convincing picture of the (simulated) reality. Hyperrealist painter and sculptor uses photographic images as a source of reference from which to create a rendering that is more clear and detailed. Below we present examples work from some of the best hyper-realist painters out there. Pedro Campos Roberto Bernardi Steve Mills. ALYSSA MONKS:PAINTS REALISM : Visionary Artistry Magazine. Alyssa Monks is strikingly rare in her artistry. Monks has established a way of painting that mixes realism and abstraction forming figurative art.

She calls it “realism that can be achieved through anatomical accuracy,” which means that her oil paintings visually look real, much like a still photo. Interestingly enough, the contemporary oil artist paints directly from photographs, but this is not her dependency because she is the inventor of her paintings. The photos are simply used as reference. “I’m interested in continuing to push the possibilities of painting technique – discover new ways to create illusion, new ways to apply the paint and create new effects,” Monks says.

Monks refers to her oil paintings as “color relationships” that produce the volume and space, as well as the application that creates a “fleshy” texture, thus creating realistic oil paintings. “I believe there is a sublime balance between technique and concept, both are necessary and support each other.
