Luxurious Modern Family Home With Lots of Outdoor Living. Located in Guimarães, Portugal, the L23 House, designed by Pitágoras Arquitectos, is a single family home with a beautiful dark facade made up of pigmented concrete. On one side of the home, there are substantial overhangs that provide covered outdoor spaces on the ground and first floors. A large grassy courtyard rests in between the volumes of the home giving the homeowners plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. A long, covered patio connects the volumes and provides a spot to enjoy the views. The interior opens up to the central courtyard with floor-to-ceiling windows, making each room feel as if it’s outdoors.
The corner kitchen opens up onto the deck making it easy to enjoy your breakfast outside. A hallway is located on the exterior wall that leads to the open public rooms, like the living room.
