Coolest Homemade Minion Carrying a Box Illusion Costume. Feeding some excited minions some bananas! This year for Halloween I really wanted to make a minion from Despicable Me. But when I thought more deeply into making this costume, many questions popped into my head if I were to go outside dressed as a giant minion. How would I see? How would I eat? How would I drink? Would I even fit through a door to get inside the party? How hot will I be inside the costume? And how would I solve my biggest peeve with minion costumes; turning a character with tiny feet and a round cylindrical body into one with long human legs and a long cylinder for a body. As Halloween crept closer and closer, I still had to urge to make one. Then I had a thought……he can carry me! And so the costume began… Digging for more bananas in the box Creating the Minion Body Materials: - Yellow fabric - Blue fabric - Black Acyrlic Paint - Fabric Glue - Hot glue gun - 1.25″ buttons (x2) - Black and white felt The first thing I thought of making the minion out of was paper mache.

Connect with Baby Lock on Facebook and TotallyStitchin.net. I’m not talking about losing weight. Weight is never the issue. Tights and hose are no respecter of persons when it comes to the blessed muffin top. Also, it’s not really about the bulge of skin peeking out from the opening of tights (okay it’s partly that), it’s about how terribly uncomfortable tights are when they have such a tight waist.

It’s not reliable to stick with a certain brand, either. I would show you a real before and after, but no one needs to see me in my tights. But I solved the problem this weekend. Seam ripperscissorspinsmeasuring taperegular sewing machineelastictights Cut that nasty, too-tight-for-real-humans waistband off your tights. Do you see how enormous my true waistband looks compared to the tights waistband? Italian Greyhound Clothing Tutorials.

Easy fabric vase covers. While poking around in my cupboard the other day, I found a shot glass that would make a lovely little bud vase. Except it wasn't very cute, so I put a removable jacket on it. This turned out to be so easy and so much fun that I couldn't stop making these vase covers. Here's how. 1. Cut a piece of fabric large enough to wrap around your glass or vase once, plus about an inch of overlap. Make it as tall as your vase is, plus an extra half inch. 2. 3. 4. 5. I put some cuttings of pothos vines (is that what these are?) Mollie Makes - Wild Olive.

Make Crisp, Even Hems. Little boxy pouch tutorial | three bears. My latest favourite thing to make, little boxy pouches. It took me almost an entire morning, lots of paper and sellotape and countless cups of tea to figure this out. I’m here to save you the bother. This little bag is 4.5 inches long, 3 inches high and 2 inches deep, just right for a lipstick and a compact (or better still, lots of sweets). 1. Choose your fabric.
