Make a Customized Silhouette T-Shirt Of Your Kids. Email Kids grow up quickly; so I’m always looking for new ways to celebrate these fleeting days while my little ones are still small. Recently, I came up with a fun project that captures a moment in a child’s life, and creates a unique fashion statement. Here’s how to make a customized silhouette T-shirt that features your precious tots. For this project, you’ll need: 1. A child who is willing to cooperate for photo taking 2. Digital Camera 3. First, you’ll need to take an appropriate photo for the project. After you’ve taken a photo you’re pleased with, load it into your computer. Tape your printed photo onto a sunny window and tear off a similar-size sheet of freezer paper. Next, use your X-Acto Knife to cut out the silhouettes. Now that your stencil is cut, it’s time to adhere the stencil to your shirt.

Next, tear off a piece of freezer paper that is slightly larger than your stencil. Paint a thin layer of your chosen paint over the stencil. Warrior Games Started Right. Inspired by a Pin I've recently seen about "rules for dads with daughters," I went searching for a similar list for moms with sons.

This search was mostly fruitless, so I was inspired to write my own Rules for Moms with Sons. Granted, my list will not be conclusive and may not be entirely uncontroversial. So agree, or disagree, or take with a grain of salt - but I hope to inspire other moms who are loving, and struggling, and tired, and proud, and eager to support the boys in their lives. Live a Happier Life. Excerpt from Human Moments: How to Find Meaning and Love in Your Everyday Life The basic ingredients of a happy life are simple. They include friends and neighbors; relatives; some work you like; perhaps some pets; a club, or a church, or a team; maybe a garden or other passionate pastime or hobby; maybe a good book or a movie; and some hopes and memories, too. To relish the full pleasure of these connections, we have to delve deeply into them and make the most of them. We have to nourish them so they become as strong as they possibly can be. But how? It is one thing to say it, another to do it.

Wednesday, June 20th, 2012 It’s that time of year again! The grills are coming out and the steaks, burgers, and brats are plentiful.

It’s enough to send any vegan off the deep end. Unfortunately, as it seems with all good things, grilling comes with a serious health risk – cancer. How can something as innocent as chowing on a freshly grilled, grassfed rib-eye be a health hazard? Grilling creates two types of potentially cancer causing agents; polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and heterocyclic amines (HCAs). I know exactly what you’re thinking… EVERYTHING causes cancer these days, right? I joke! Marinate! Here’s a handy chart to help guide your grilling and meat cooking adventures: **USDA guidelines are valuable food safety targets.

**Restaurant guidelines often result in better finished quality and less chance of meats being overdone. The coals are hot and the meat is marinating. About Amy Kubal. Becoming minimalist. After one too many dead fish and cigarette butts smacked me in the face while I swam in the New York City Triathlon Sunday, I decided to shut my eyes. For that brief moment, I managed to block out the Hudson River's slimy debris, but I also started veering off course in the direction of New Jersey. When I jerked my eyes open, I was actually relieved to see the brown murkiness again, but I started to think about my blind teammates. I wondered how they were faring racing against the choppy waves in complete darkness.

I spent a couple of months training for this grueling endurance event with a group of athletes who aren't interested in what they "can't" do. But despite their physical or intellectual disabilities, 12 brave racers signed up to swim a mile in the Hudson, bike 26 miles up and down the West Side Highway and run a 6.2-mile hilly course in Central Park. I decided on a whim to get involved with helping these incredibly driven triathletes realize this goal. Loading Slideshow. On the Web - reQall Help. Hip Pain and Iliopsoas Muscle Pain caused by iliopsoas tendonitis and iliopsoas syndrome are conditions that affect the iliopsoas muscle located in the anterior region (or front) of the hip.

Apparently, there are a lot of people suffering with hip pain.) If you suffer from hip pain or are seeking to prevent its occurrence it is important to follow the information in this article. In addition, adding a few simple stretches to your fitness program will also help.

Iliopsoas tendonitis refers to inflammation of the iliopsoas muscle and can also affect the bursa located underneath the tendon of the iliopsoas muscle. Bursitis and Bursitis Treatment. Bursae are tiny fluid filled sacs located in areas of the body where bones, ligaments and tendons connect. There are more than 150 bursae in the human body and they act as cushions for joints. The bursae help to decrease friction between moving parts and without them movement would be painful. What is Bursitis? Put simply, bursitis is inflammation of the bursa.

When inflammation occurs, any movement or stress on the bursa causes pain and prevents the bursa from working properly. Some common signs of bursitis are a dull ache or stiffness in the affected area; increased pain with movement; tenderness; swelling; redness; and heat. Although there are many bursae located throughout the body, the most common areas of complaint are the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. What Causes Bursitis? In the first instance, any prolonged, repetitive movement of a joint will place strain on the bursa, which over time can cause inflammation and tenderness and result in bursitis.
