Starting with very detailed photos from www.3d.sk we project three views onto the model: side, three quarters and front views. Later, you can take these images into your graphic editor of choice and pick and choose what parts of each projection you like. When I first used ZBrush, I found many things confusing. ZBrush doesn’t quite operate the same way as other 3D applications. Its a cross between a painting program and a 3D modeling program hence the name ZBrush; “Z” for depth and brush for painting. This series begins with things that might confuse the new user in the hope of clearing the confusion.
In this DVD the instructor goes over the fundamentals of ZBrush 3.5. As the training progresses, basic concepts are covered in detail, and eventually advanced solutions are discussed on a number of techniques including the new features in ZBrush 3.5. By the end of the demonstration, the user will have a strong foundation in ZBrush fundamentals, as well as a number of valuable insights for more advanced techniques.
