Opanowywanie płynnego czytania jest długotrwałym procesem, a umiejętność czytania ze zrozumieniem w dużym stopniu przekłada się na sukcesy szkolne dziecka. Większość z nas uczyła się czytać poznając na początku wszystkie litery, składając z nich sylaby potem wyrazy i zdania, zupełnie nie potrafiąc skupić się na zrozumieniu czytanego tekstu. Nauka nazw liter nie jest trudna dla dziecka, ale tak naprawdę jest zupełnie niepotrzebna. Dziecku sprawia potem trudność złożenie z poszczególnych liter wyrazów w całość. Dzieci analizując poszczególne litery, czytają powoli i z trudem rozumieją znaczenie wyrazu. Nauka czytania, jak za chwile zobaczycie, może być świetną zabawą i nie są potrzebne do tego żadne książki i elementarze. Jak zacząć naukę? Początkowo wprowadzamy do zabawy samogłoski ustne (o, i, a, e, u dopiero później ó, y). Zabawy sylabowe na łyżkach. Piłeczki z samogłoskami. W co się bawić z najmłodszymi? Czyli zestaw zabaw ćwiczących paluszki, które przygotujesz w mniej niż 5 minut.

Zastanawiasz się kiedy padnie rutynowe stwierdzenie „mamo, nudzi mi się”. A właściwie nie masz czasu się zastanawiać, bo już od rana słyszysz pytanie „mamo, co dzisiaj porobimy ?”. While we’ve made a very simple homemade play dough kit previously, time around we decided to make the birthday boy a colourful kit filled with a rainbow of play dough and a bunch of fun tools and loose parts to up its play possibilities. The idea actually came about after Miss G and I ran into a brand new stock of Ikea’s GLIS boxes… We’d purchased a couple a little while back knowing that they’d come in handy even though we really didn’t have a plan for them at the time {I blame my hoarding tendencies on Kuwait – hah}.
Sure enough, the idea of a rainbow play dough kit came along and one of our stowed away boxes had a purpose!
