I personally thought this film is worth a watch at least. It isn't my usual style of action or thriller type films but it makes you smile and laugh. It's quirky for sure but i enjoyed it, makes a change to the usual rubbish that comes spewing out these days. This is by far one of the worst films I have ever seen.I watched this with 3 other people and we wanted to turn it off after 20 minutes. The idea has potential, but the way the do it is terrible. Michel Gondry makes another wonderful movie but manages not to copy his "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind".Be Kind, Rewind and Eternal Sunshine are two very different movies, the writing is completely different and visually they look and seem nothing alike.This movie looks very realistic and manages to capture the true feeling of the story. Captain Guzidi, commanding the Ninth Company, led the infantry unit which consisted of a mere 46 men on a sniping mission to defend the south bank of the Wen River. His orders were to fight until the retreat assembly call was charged. After long hours of defence, ammunition was running out, and the number of men standing in the Ninth Company was quickly decreasing. Everyone began to wonder if they had missed the retreat bugle call. But Guzidi insisted that the bugle had not sounded and that they were to continue to battle at all costs. I don't mind a film even if it's terrible-as long as I'm entertained in some fashion. As in the previous Pirates sequel, the plot is all over the place and too much time is wasted on dull characters, but it's still great to look at and there are a few surprises. in my opinion this film was an outstanding closure to the pirates movies, i thought this movie may have not lived up to my expectations....it surpassed them, Johnny Depp was thoroughly entertaining, and the reunion of sparrow and Barbossa added to the hints of laugh out loud comedy within the epic battles of the film.
