Estos eventos, muchos aducen se debe al fenómeno de la Globalización, donde efectivamente "la tierra ha dejado de ser redonda y se ha aplanado, dado el efecto tecnológico"(1). Otros sostienen que "es el fenómeno cíclico que se va haciendo presente cada cierto tiempo en los mercados y la socidades", los menos, sostienen que se debe a un "problema ético y moral a nivel global"..... Señores ¡a quitarse las vendas de los ojos! No pueden seguir tratando de tapar el sol con un dedo, con estrategias de crecimiento añejas que hoy en día no se ajustan a los cambios que están aconteciendo en las sociedades a nivel global.
Los eventos acontecidos a nivel global, son indicadores de que lo que se ha estado haciendo, en años anteriores, en materias de mercado y sociedad, se ¡está realizando mal, o no se está llevando a cabo! I was fortunate to attend, Make it Better, a recent symposium at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) on art, design, and the future of healthcare. It delivered. It amazes me in today’s always on and connected world we still have to be nudged, or for many, blasted out of our silos to experience the magic of interdisciplinary thinking and doing. John Maeda, RISD’s President, always makes me think about the importance of art and design in our lives and to the innovation process. It isn’t just about making sure art and design are included as part of the equation. Reframing the question can force us to reach beyond our comfort zones to explore the adjacent possible.
