De un tiempo a esta parte solo oigo hablar bien del crowdfunding. Para los que no lo sepan, y simplificando mucho la cuestión, diré que esto del “crowdfunding” consiste en recibir innumerables aportaciones económicas para tu proyecto, que bien puede ser a título gratuito (donaciones como las que se hacen a Wikipedia), como lucrativo. En este segundo caso he visto dos tipos de propuestas. Algunas empresas solicitan el dinero a cambio de una participación en el capital, mientras que otras ofrecen como contraprestación un porcentaje de los beneficios que dé el proyecto que se está financiando. Un ejemplo de esto lo vi hace poco cuando una empresa de videojuegos me pidió pasta para producir un título a cambio de un porcentaje de las ganancias que generase ese videojuego que yo estaba ayudando a producir. Bueno, la pregunta es: esto del crowdfunding, ¿merece la pena?

My partner Brad recently wrote a blog post commenting on the proliferation of standardized seed financing documents .
