DIY. Metalandmud.wordpress.com. Hello spring. I just saw these.... the latest addition to the constant gatherer's shop... spring crazy wreaths!! Of course i love the mix of vintage and found pieces ....and bits of this and that.... vintage and found fabrics, doll baby clothes, trims, ribbons and yarn..... vintage and new millinery leaves and preserved moss. .... and i love that bird! They are made by the fabulous katie runnels, who is a super talented artist.... and all around nice gal. p.s. it's april 1st... and that means first friday.... stop by art and light tonight for some new blue moss and lots of great art goodies. Cowparsley. To blog... I have commented before that I am quite self conscious of this little blog, amongst people in the 'real' world (as opposed to people in the blog world). From friends, acquaintances, colleagues I keep it a very well guarded secret, divulging it only to those I trust.

I fear judgment of the life I present here but also I have found that it's near on impossible to explain a blog to people who don't get it. I have many friends who don't do facebook. My Mum fears online shopping (identity fraud being her worst nightmare). Friends who would rather speak on the phone (how old school) than text or email. And don't get me started on Twitter. Many, many people just can not see the point of Twitter. And so back blogging. This week my husband has been in San Francisco on business accompanying an iconic British fashion brand, discussing some very clever technology stuff.

But there are still many...including my friends...who just don't get it. And so to my answers (it's all me, me, me!) Raybans. Wire & Paper. Design*Sponge | Your home for all things Design. Home Tours, DIY Project, City Guides, Shopping Guides, Before & Afters and much more. Honestly WTF. Craftgawker | look to inspire. Crafty. Decor8 & Blog Archive & Squint. I’m back from London and so glad to be here on decor8 again because I’ve missed you very much! I really dislike being unplugged for so long but I hope that you have enjoyed a few of the guests that have posted while I was away. How have you been? I caught a virus while away, so the last half of my trip was a bit of a downer as I spent wayyy to much time in my room but what can you do? At least I enjoyed the first part of my trip and so next week I’ll be back here blogging full-time and also talking about some of the places that I visited including a bit of a “Best of London” through my eyes so that if you plan to visit you will have some special addresses in your pocket while you’re there. Seeing Chesterfield sofas and Egg chairs covered in a melody of patchwork in some of my favorite fabrics was such a delight.

If you are in London I highly suggest dropping by (178 Shoreditch High Street, London) — it’s such a delight! Would you like to have something from Squint in your home?
