Watermelon Plates: Watermelon Week - 30 Minute Crafts. Watermelon is one of those things that just screams SUMMER!
You don’t need to sign up for a Watermelon Eating contest to enjoy watermelon this summer, you can make these quick and easy watermelon plates! For these plates, you just need a few supplies: DecoArt Glass Paint Paint sponges Plain sponges 4 Glass plates Start by cutting a sponge into a teardrop shape. Use this sponge to make watermelon seed shapes on the back of the plates.
Use the paint sponge to add green glass paint to the rim of each paint. Once you add the green to all four plates, the seeds will be dry on the first plate. Sometimes, wandering through the bead aisle at your local craft store, you’ll find the best inspiration. If you’re not sure what to make with those beads, you can use just about any combination of beads to make a necklace similar to this rose necklace.

Feed the ribbon through the loop, then firmly pull the ends of the thread to pull the ribbon through. Add an overhand knot, and repeat until you have as many faux pearls as you like. That’s how I ended up with the circles in these circle and sparkle earrings. They were in the clearance section, and I just knew I could turn them into something fun to wear (and to make)! They’re simple to put together, let me show you how to make your own circle and sparkle earrings… You’ll need: Large circle beads Small Swarovski Crystal beads Head Pins Jewelry Pliers Earring wires Thread the head pin through the bottom of one circle, then add on the crystals.
