Oliver: Octopus Amish Puzzle Ball Pattern. Oliver the Octopus is a modified Amish Puzzle Ball. He comes apart into 3 segments that can be taken apart and reassembled at will. He is made from upcycled clothes – in this case an old torn Long Tall Sally Jean and a stained baby t-shirt. If you are put off because this project looks a bit complex, don’t be! It is quite simple, actually.

You just have to make a bunch of wedges (one of which contains a head) and then sew them all together. And if I can conquer my hate of hand-sewing to make this Octopus Amish Puzzle Ball, then so can you! Most of you will by now be familiar with my Amamani (Amigurumi Amish Puzzle Animals) – a series of crochet animals based on the traditional Amish puzzle ball.

My latest Amamani is Olive the Crochet Octopus Puzzle (free pattern available here). So allow me to show you how to make your very own Octopus Amish Puzzle Ball. Have I told you before that due to the considerable bountiful design of the Secret Garden Quilt, I have to split the tutorial into a few parts. By doing so, it also gives me more time to prepare the proper pattern in downloadable and printable pdf form.

Besides the huge quilt I’d design and quilt, this is also my biggest challenge in pattern and tutorial sharing. Hope it gets more “LIKES” and “LOVES” from you all!!! Ciao, need to prepare the next tutorial of the quilt [font for the Secret Garden word] and prepare my new house for moving in More updates coming your way! {Get Pattern & Tutorial details on next page.} Pages: 1 2 Get all updates via email: Highlights from Our Partners. Sock Monkey. Gosh… I am supposed to sew some thing for the Earth Month this April, but I can’t wait to sew these sock monkeys. My hands simply took over my head and see what I did after a few days and nights of sewing…. a house full of sock monkeys!!!! Do you love them? I have seen a lot of sock monkey photos hanging around friends’ photo albums in many photo sharing websites, so envy. These sock monkeys are so cute and so adorable that I would want to hug one, I bet my kids would love to have them to accompany too when mommy is busy with works.

Therefore, I went out to shop for some socks thinking that may be 4 to 5 pairs should be enough, I ended up with 20 pairs of colorful socks, simply can’t resist for not buying ;-). I made a few prototypes and showed them to my parents, siblings and their families during a dinner. . …. The siblings are indeed loving each other, not only they are huggy to human, but they also hug each other, like this one. {Get full details on next page.} Pages: 1 2.
