Chris Mars Publishing. El Tarot de Xul Solar. En su búsqueda por alcanzar el conocimiento universal, a partir del año 1951 y hasta mediados de la década, Xul Solar realiza una serie de pinturas orientadas hacia el estudio de la Cábala y la astrología.

El Tarot de Xul Solar

Desarrolla de manera particular el Árbol de la Vida al que denomina Pan-tree. Quiere descubrir la manera de adaptar la astrología y los doce signos del zodíaco a la Cábala, para lo cual agrega dos sefirot más a los diez ya establecidos. El Árbol de la Vida representa el universo (Dios) con diez cualidades ideales que se unen mediante veintidós caminos que representan las veintidós letras del alfabeto hebreo. This group show looks incredible! And in particular i’m loving the work of Cherri Wood (aka Fy Simone) is a 19 year old illustrator based in Minnesota, USA. ~ with her girls viewed from the back floating on paper… her style of watercolour, acrylic, and graphite on paper is just mesmerizing, and they really stand out both on their own and in the set… See them all on the next page, and if you’re in SF, definitely go check out the show!
