Tablet Cover and Tote Bag « sew in harmony. My husband likes to get me technology. And I like to receive it. He recently got me a Samsung Galaxy tablet to replace my iPad. (Which is for sale…nothing wrong with it, I just like the Android format better…message me if you are interested.) I love my new tablet, but I needed a case for it. I did a little research and decided I could make my own. So, I set about devising my plan/pattern. 1. 2. 3. 4. I do love it and I think it turned out really well. I would line the outside fabric with at least medium-weight interfacing. So, voila! The next thing I wanted to make was a coordinating tote bag/purse to go with my new case.

It has a bit of gathering at the front and some trim from the tablet case fabric to give it visual interest. And it is also lined with the fabric from the tablet case as well as another coordinating fabric. It has a little divided pocket that can hold my phone and some pens. I LOVE this bag…so much. So there you have it…my new tablet case and coordinating tote bag. D.I.Y. Eulen. Heute ist Do It Yourself Sonntag! :D und was möchte ich euch vorstellen? Meine absoluten Lieblinge natürlich. Tsumami Kanzashi are traditional Japanese folded flowers, made from small squares of silk, that are typically worn by women as hair ornaments in traditional hairstyles.

They seem really complicated and intricate, and they can certainly be that if you really want; but it completely doesn't need to be! I love to make them out of cotton prints that are fun and bright, in addition to scraps of silk and other light fabrics. These can be used in countless applications. There are a few tutorials out there on the internet, but to find a good variety in petal shapes can certainly be difficult, you just have to keep looking, and just grab a square of fabric and just test stuff out.

With that in mind, here are 52 Free Dress Patterns, divided by style. Keep in mind the categories are not set in stone. With a fancier fabric, a different closure or a change in hem length, a pattern can easily change from fancy to work day to casual. You make the decision. Notes about the patterns are listed for some of the dresses. Here are explanations for those pattern notes that are not self explanatory. Patterns from existing dresses require laying out an item of clothing onto fabric, marking it, and cutting out. No pattern needed usually means that the dress is made from a recycled shirt. Drafting instructions means that you will have to make your own pattern, but the designer included all the information needed.
