After months of preparation and gathering input we are now glad to announce that the public consultation on the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for Big Data Value creation for Europe has opened. NESSI, together with partners from the FP7 project Big, have drafted a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) on Big Data Value for Europe.
The objective of the SRIA is to describe the main research challenges and needs for advancing Big Data Value in Europe in the next 5 to 10 years. The current content of the SRIA is based on contributions from NESSI and Big Project partners, input from other stakeholders and the outcomes of several sector workshops held early this year. Now we want to solicit your views and validate the agenda. The consultation is open to all and will be accessible until 5 May 2014. Toolpoint. Am Donnerstag, 20. März 2014 hatte das Institut für Labortechnologie zum Swiss Symposium on Lab Automation 2014 eingeladen. Schwerpunkt 2014 bildeten das Thema: “In Vitro Diagnostik“ - was sind die Trends der zukünftigen Entwicklungen und welche regulatorischen Anforderungen gilt es bei den neuen IVD Richtlinien zu beachten. Im zweiten Teil konzentrierte sich die Veranstaltung auf den Nutzen und die Möglichkeiten der Zusammenarbeit von Industrie und Instituten bei der Realisierung innovativer Forschungsprojekte. Dabei wurden erfolgreiche Kooperationsprojekte im Bereich der Laborautomation und -instrumentation vorgestellt. Neu in diesem Jahr waren die Führungen durch die HSR-Labore bei denen aktuelle Forschungsprojekte präsentiert wurden.
