Forced perspective is a technique that employs optical illusion to make an object appear farther away, closer, larger or smaller than it actually is. It is used primarily in photography, filmmaking and architecture. It manipulates human visual perception through the use of scaled objects and the correlation between them and the vantage point of the spectator or camera.
In north-eastern China city of “Harbin” there is 26th International Festival of snow and ice . Full city can be found with massive buildings of ice , overhanging the river sung, large ice sculpture of a life-size, ice slides, food and drinks. Night lights are included, and the frozen audience sees as the sculptures are illuminated from both inside and outside. The festival this year opened on January 5 and will last until February .
