In order to understand who I am today, we should start with the person I left behind. I have been through my own set of trials and tribulations. In my 32 years I have been a part of and witness to many injustices within our society. From growing up in a rural area to a prison cell. I have seen the darkest reaches of our human existence, as well as the beautiful moments we kindle in our memories. All this has molded me into the person you see before you now. Today I am able to stand here and tell you that my life has a purpose. The details to that purpose are unfolding in my daily life, but there is a reason for my existence.
