Agathe Haevermans. Département d'activité : Seine et Marne / Paris Dessinatrice scientifique passionnée, je travaille au Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle de Paris où j'illustre des articles et des livres de systématique végétale.
Je dispense également, au Muséum et dans mon atelier, des cours de dessin scientifique à l’encre de chine et surtout, ce que j’aime le plus, d'aquarelle botanique et zoologique. Constatant le manque de structure fédérant les artistes botanistes en France, j'ai eu l’idée de créer cette association pour nous permettre à tous de redonner ses lettres de noblesses à cet art si particulier et exigeant : j'ai vu cette association comme un moyen de transmettre notre passion au plus grand nombre et dynamiser la discipline. Born in 1963, Linda Ravenscroft is a self taught artist who has been painting since she was very young. until recentyl She lived with her husband John, and animal companions, in the beautiful county of Cheshire, England.
Since then she has had the opportunity to follow one of her dreams, moving to the magical town of Glastonbury, “The Isle of AValon” in Somerset. Linda became a professional artist in 1994 after the birth of her daughter Vivien (aka. Ivy), who was very ill after her birth, so Linda was unable to go back to her office job as she had planned the only other thing she thought she could do to earn a living whilst taking care of her daughter was “Paint”.
