Surface Computing. Over the new year I came to a deep realisation about the use of technology and communications in our modern world. So often I hear people talking about the internet and how it has empowered us to learn about vast ranging subjects and to connect with anyone across the planet. This is true of our information age, however, with such power there inevitably comes a time when we begin to feel the need to turn to our direct environment to apply some of our new found knowledge in our lives. An this is when the limitations of our new found communications freedoms becomes apparent. no matter what we say or think there is defiantly a huge different between communicating with someone over the internet or telephone when compared with working with someone who is in our direct environment.
