Observatory | Milion. The beginning The Communication and Education Department of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, together with the Asociaciòn Mentor de Educaciòn en Medios (Mentor Association), creates a Media and Information Literacy Observatory MILION. The Observatory will investigate, analyse and provide data and information on the situation and on the progress in the area of media and information literacy on an international level.
It will give indicators and statistics on the topics linked to ICT use, critical thinking competencies related to media content, communication skills, environment variables directly connected to one’s media and information literacy and availability of technologies that enable the distribution of audiovisual contents.
