10 Favorite Deli and Diner Sandwich Recipes. Pad Thai Recipe. Pad Thai, a flavorful combination of stir-fried rice noodles is Thailand's most well known noodle dish.

This relatively recent addition to Thai cuisine, puts crispy bean sprouts, crunchy roasted peanuts and garlic chives over soft rice noodles cooked in a sweet and sour sauce which is uniquely Thai in flavor. We have put all the necessary ingredients for this recipe into our Perfect Pad Thai Kit available in our online grocery. Presoak noodles: Soak the rice noodles in cool or lukewarm water for at least 40 minutes, until the noodles are limp but still firm to touch. When the noodles have softened, drain and set aside. While the noodles are soaking prepare the rest of the ingredients. Prepare Pad Thai ingredients: Peel and devein shrimp leaving the tails on if desired (see our how to video in our blog here). If using pork, slice into 1x1/2x1/4 inch slices. Prepare tofu, garlic, shallot and dried shrimp, garlic chives, scallions and lime and set aside.

The recipe comes courtesy of Leigh Anne and is one of the many I have tried of hers and loved (i.e. Macaroni Grill Penne Rustica, Sour Cream Banana Bread – to be posted soon!). This recipe for pad see ew calls for strips of chicken and broccoli, Chinese broccoli, or bok choy. While pad see ew can also be made with dried rice noodles, it's traditionally made with fresh - look for fresh wide rice noodles that come compressed in a package at your local Asian food store (in the refrigerated section). A dish that I happen to adore, but my man won’t touch with a 10 foot pole. On tonight’s episode we feature an entree that is not only meatless, but also contains a slightly sweet element, otherwise known as meh and nuh-uh in my husband’s world. Coconut milk-infused quinoa is stir fried with ginger, garlic, pineapple and peas, then drizzled with a lime-soy sauce, and topped with chopped peanuts.
