Persistencia de información clínica. Es muy frecuente que para la para la persistencia de información clínica se utilicen las mismas tecnologías que se utilizan para la persistencia de otras clases de información, por ejemplo información demográfica o administrativa.
Estas tecnologías son las bases de datos relacionales. El principal problema es que la información clínica no tiene la misma estructura que la información administrativa, y además es utilizada de forma distinta. Por otro lado hoy existe un gran número de tecnologías de persistencia de datos que no siguen el modelo relacional, y que son interesantes para analizar, investigar y probar para la persistencia de información clínica. The music seems to help them "come alive" again. While listening to familiar songs, many of the documentary's patients can sing along, answer questions about their past, and even carry on brief conversations with others. "Music imprints itself on the brain deeper than any other human experience," says neurologist Oliver Sacks, who appears in the film. "Music evokes emotion, and emotion can bring with it memory. " The documentary follows recent studies showing that music can improve the memories of dementia patients, and even help them develop new memories.
