Hero jumps in front of a train to save a stranger At around one o'clock on January 2nd, 2007, 50-year old construction worker Wesley Autrey was waiting for a subway train with his two daughters, aged 4 and 6. All of a sudden, he noticed a man - 20-year old Cameron Hollopeter, collapse into a seizure and fall to the ground. Wesley immediately ran over to help him, alongside two women. With their help, Cameron could stand up again, but he couldn't fully regain his balance and was stumbling around. Without hesitation, he leaped down onto the tracks and onto Cameron, covering him with his body and pushing him down into the gap between the rails. People on the platform were screaming, along with Wesley's 2 daughters. After 20 minutes of waiting, subway workers came and helped the men back up onto the platform. 2. 3 o'clock in the afternoon on February 23, 2010. Nearby, their 57- year old math teacher, David Benke, heard the gun shots and rushed to the scene.

Sacrificing his life to save a stranger's Robert Cook, a 22-year-old skydiving instructor, was on a plane with 21-year-old Kimberley Dear. She was about to make her first ever skydive, and he was her instructor. But soon after the plane had taken off, the engine failed. The airplane started plummeting towards the ground at a rapid speed. Robert calmly told Kimberley to sit on his lap. Robert died after hitting the ground. Nick Vujicic: a man with no limbs who teaches people how to get up Nick Vujicic was born in Melbourne, Australia with the rare Tetra-amelia disorder: limbless, missing both arms at shoulder level, and having one small foot with two toes protruding from his left thigh. Despite the absence of limbs, he is doing surf and swimming, and playing golf and soccer.

Nick graduated from college at the age of 21 with a double major in Accounting and Financial Planning.
