Such a Pretty Mess: Scrapbooking Your Pets with NEW Bo Bunny!! There is something I really love about the color combination of soft grey and butter yellow!

Such a Pretty Mess: Scrapbooking Your Pets with NEW Bo Bunny!!

The new Bo Bunny Serenade collection has some gorgeous yellows in it. I used some of their Double dot paper in the color 'Shadow' to compliment the pretty yellows. Today we are scrapping about our pets over at the Bo Bunny Blog, so I just had to scrap about our pup Zoe! As many of you know we lost our dear old pup Mocha to old age a couple of years ago and it took me almost a year before I was ready to take on another little pup.

So just a little over a year ago we went to a Labradoodle breeder to choose a pup for ourselves. We were told when we arrived that they had only one more puppy available for purchase from this litter. To see more pet layouts done by our Bo Bunny design team, check out the Bo Bunny blog for today! Such a Pretty Mess: Looking for Some Inspiration? Bo Bunny has it! Today's assignment for some of the Bo Bunny girls was rather a unique and fun one.

They gave us a photo to use as inspiration for a project. (see photo below) I loved the fresh summery look of this photo and it made me think of the pretty colors in the Bo Bunny 'Country Garden' collection. I picked out the soft blues, buttery yellow and the fresh greens to make up my layout. Planting season is here and my whole family likes to get in on it. My oldest daughter Chloe (now 14) has always loved to do the planting with us, so I chose to scrap a photo of her when she was about 8 years old, helping plant the blooms in front of the house. Today I have 2 layouts to share. This first one was super quick because as soon as I opened the kit and saw the flamingo paper and cards, I knew I had to do an Animal Kingdom flamingo page! Did you know the flamingo island is a hidden mickey? :) I just can not get a good photo showing the shape but I think its cool. The Ff card is cute but works better with a Mickey punch and do you love the pink camera die cut! My favorite bit is the flamingo card and the nice flower cluster sticker with the gold foil. We go every year over the holiday weekend and have a wonderful time. We spend the entire weekend eating good food and scrapbooking to our hearts content. Well this year, Tristan came along since he is only three weeks old. Needless to say my mom nor I did much scrapbooking because we were occupied with the baby, but I did manage to make a couple of pages during nap times. Now the scrapbook weekend is over and I am always so sad to see it end because I look forward to it every year. This is the first scrapbook page I have made with Tristan's picture. I sort of followed Nadia's August 15th sketch from Once Upon a Sketch. Gabrielle Polacco. Talk about a match made in heaven!
