En mi oficina, en el Museo del Chopo, la mayor parte del tiempo la paso tratando de explicar qué es el performance. Parece exageración pero en promedio gente diferente me lo pregunta unas 5 veces por semana. Incluso ya me ha tocado atender llamadas telefónicas con desconocidos exclusivamente para tratar de explicar lo que significa. Tal vez sea un karma intrínseco a esta disciplina o quizá sea un método para autoafianzar un término que empleo a diario, pero que todos los días cambia un poco.
