Nací en la ciudad de México en 1978, mi genética me permitió vencer por sólo 1.60 mts. a la gravedad, lo que me hizo un portero muy limitado, y un delantero poco efectivo en el fútbol de la calle de mi infancia, ante esto, no me quedo más remedio que refugiarme en las caricaturas del canal cinco y así empecé a dibujar cuanto carton animado salía en la televisión.

Helio Vega is Creative Director and Designer based in Madrid. His professional career began at Zapping advertising agency, at the same time, he was completing Arts & Graphic Design studies, and eventually landed him international experience in some studios of Toronto. After working at The Silence in the last 3 years (his own design/vfx studio), he is back to freelance motion director/designer. Through his 10 years of work experience Vega has been working for clients around the globe; Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Ford, Canal +, MoviStar, Bank Sabadell, Mtv among others. The basics of his work base on the transmission of an emotional concept through layers of composition, movement and timing. His knowledge goes trough conceptual script, direction, motion design and postproduction.April 18, 2012 Hillman passed away at home on April 18th at 6:03 pm in the presence of his loving wife, two children, his sister, sister in law and brother in law. He was 51 years old and died after a long and fiercely fought battle with colon cancer. Hillman deeply loved his work, all of it -- film directing, graphic design, all aspects of new media -- and he especially loved his talented mentors, friends and students in these fields.
