DIY: Marble your clothes. Easter eggs can inspire you even during Autumn - when I passed by the Art Supply Store I found Marble colors on sale. Since I only knew them from coloring easter eggs and kitschy Postcards, I read the package and it said "decent on fabrics" - so I tried it. here is a little tutorial, so you do not need to do the same mistakes again, I already made them all for you (: Marble colors.

I used black, "clear" (get two bottles, its the base for everything) and silver a brush with a really pointy end ! Plastic gloves (I did not use them, big mistake) white clothes (altough every other bright color would do it as well) a bathtub water I filled the bathtub with a bit of water, so it only covered the surface and added a few drops of marble color. Then you take the end of the brush to put in a "pattern" - as you like it, I mean, at the end its hard to control the stuff anyway. And now: dip in piece for piece, if its an irregular piece of clothing.

Thats actually how it looks on 100% cotton. My DIY | Hair Chain. I’ve recently discovered the sock bun, and am a little obsessed! It is a major way to amp your updo and give your hair a lift. After seeing so many stars adding chains to thier hair styles, I gave my big bun a golden upgrade. With a couple hair combs and an assortment of chains, you can deck out your ‘do for everyday, or add a string of rhinestones for an evening out. Supplies: 3-4 pieces of chain or rhinestones (each 1ft) Jump rings Hair combs Jewelry pliers Chain cutter How to: First, cut chain and lay down how you would like it to look in your hair Next attach each peice of chain to your comb with the jump rings.

Attach second piece of chain in the middle of the comb Then attached third piece to the bottom of the comb. Insert one comb on each side of your head, teeth facing down. I have had a crush on these paper deer busts for quite some time now, remember this post, so was super excited to try out the new Cricut Explore cutting machine and make my own! I found the backing at the craft store, and with a little spray paint, I created a little something for my wall in my color scheme.

You can download the pattern and directions here, and after assembling one, you become an expert and can make a million (I decided to do without instructions…I am even worst when it comes to Ikea furniture). Small ones would be super cute party favors, no? More after the break! DIY Transparent Clutch. Phil Oh spotted this elegant Charlotte Olympia Pandora clutch during Paris Fashion Week and we spotted a DIY.

Prada, Chanel & Fendi seem to be seeing clearly too because let’s face it, nothing says “I ain’t got shit to hide” like a transparent clutch. You’ll start by drilling a hole at the top of the plastic box. Use a drill bit that is one size larger than the diameter of the bolt on the knob, otherwise the plastic might crack. Open the lid and slowly drill a hole in the center of the box with very light pressure. Please wear protective eyewear and use caution! You can practice by drilling a few holes into the cover of a plastic CD case.

Once the hole is drilled, use wire cutters to trim about an inch off the bolt. Push the knob through the hole of the box and replace the washer and nut. Voila! When the lovely Amanda Thomas of Luv Aj offered to show us how to DIY her signature handpiece, we were ecstatic! Not only are we huge fans of her jewelry, we’ve been dying to adorn ourselves with this ring and bracelet combination. Thank you for the awesome tutorial, Amanda! Xx This season, the best seller in the entire collection was the Polished Pyrite Handpiece. It’s simple, a tad bit edgy, and something you can actually wear all day everyday. You’ll need: Now that you have all you need, let’s get cracking. Now for the bracelet portion- everyone’s wrist is a little different so you can ball park the length.

So now we need to attach all the smaller chains together: Open up one of the smaller jump rings and loop the shorter piece of chain and connect the jump ring on both ends. Don’t close the jump ring yet though, we need to add the two longer strands of the thin chain to the same jump ring. Grab the thick chain you cut for the bracelet portion and find the middle. Voila! DIY Turban.

We’ve recently received several requests for a turban DIY and so, your wish is our command . . . Before you start, tie your hair in a bun or ponytail. Fold a large square scarf in half into a triangle. Lay the scarf on your head with the center point of the triangle facing forward and the sides hanging down each of your shoulders. Making sure most of your hair is covered, grasp the length of each side and bring them to the top of your head, twisting twice to create a “knot”.

Once you’ve twisted the ends twice into a knot, bring both sides together to the back of your head and tie it tight. Voila, you’ve just made a turban!
