Among the myriad fashion bloggers on the Internet, Elliott Alexzander stands out as a talented model and designer who has grown increasingly well-known for their [Alexzander prefers a gender-neutral pronoun] non-binary, gender variant style.
Their site is home to stylish photoshoots, as well as riveting articles about non-binary fashion and lifestyle. It's no surprise that they've become a source of inspiration for many followers. Recently, Alexzander reported in a blog post that they have been contacted multiple times by fashion corporations, both large and small, with hateful messages such as one requesting they stop buying and modifying the brand's clothing to fit a gender variant body type because such practices "[create] the illusion that gender does not exist.

La photographe américaine Rebecca Jurgens a réalisé une série de clichés de huit hommes habillés avec des vêtements de femmes, qui portent des jupes, des robes à fleurs, ou encore des brassières avec des mini-shorts, sur des fonds peints par Robert Ingram Clifton III. Son projet n’a pas pour objectif de faire rire, mais au contraire, de déconstruire cette idée reçue qui veut qu’un homme en robe est ridicule : « Alors que cela peut paraître humoristique et léger, mon but est de mettre en lumière un message important concernant l’identité de genre : le glamour et la beauté ne sont pas les attributs exclusifs d’un genre ou d’un sexe. »

Fans of the flamboyant icon, Quentin Crisp, best known for his memoir, The Naked Civil Servant, will once again be able to celebrate the legacy at the Museum of Arts and Design in Columbus Circle, New York.

Trans Pashion Trans Pashion is a reappropriation of the erotic and romantic depiction of transgender people. With this self-portrait series I use the iconic compositions and set up of some mainstream cisgender romantic images. The lack of theatrical representation of my community motivated this production. Most pictures representing transgender are often either documentary or pornographic. Therefor with Trans Pashion I propose kitsch and dreamy staged photography to diversify the library of our depictions.
