I can still taste the wonderful lamb fricassee with peppercorns.
“I can usually pull together a casual meal served at the counter bordering my kitchen in about 45 minutes,” she added, “but a sit-down affair takes a little longer, not only because of the cooking, but also the attention to detail in creating the setting.
