Downloebables. Loeb Classical Library Books Available Online Things just keep growing. This list was initially a subset of my G'Oogle list, which itself had grown out of a post I originally made at textkit. Anyway, this is hoped to be a more-convenient way for us to track all of the freely-available LCL books out there. I have sorted these by Loeb catalog number, so that it will be easier for everyone to know what we have found and what is still missing (but hopefully out there for free, at least those that have passed into the public domain).

Convaincus par l’enthousiasme et la détermination sans faille de Jean-Christophe Saladin, directeur de la collection « Le miroir des humanistes », ils ont accepté de prendre leur part dans cette entreprise parfois ingrate, qui consiste à saisir ou retranscrire un texte avec toute la fidélité nécessaire à sa lecture. Publication that aims to bring contemporary Latin poetry to the attention of an English-speaking audience. The purpose of the journal is to promote both the reading and the writing of new Latin verse in an attempt to reverse the decline of Latin poetry composition in the English-speaking world. Published electronically in pdf format, the journal is sent free of charge to any individual or organisation who wishes to see it. Who can contribute? Anyone, from university professors to students, to armchair classicists.
