Cette démarche, souvent pratiquée dans le cadre plus global du génie industriel, est qualifiée de techno-centrée en ce sens que même si elle suppose l existence de l humain quand le système fonctionne correctement, elle lui suppose des capacités magiques pour résoudre les situations non prévues ou difficiles.
