MIT Guided Tours

The MIT Mobile app requires iOS 4.0 or newer or Android OS 2.1 or newer. To get the app for your device, search for "MIT Mobile" at the iPhone App Store or the Android Market. For general campus tour information please call 617-253-4795, Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. Regularly scheduled student-led campus tours are conducted Monday through Friday at 11 am and at 3 pm, excluding legal US holidays and the winter break period (see academic calendar). The Official Harvard tour departs from the Harvard Information Center, in the Smith Campus Center. The tour is student-led and comprises an outdoor walk (please dress appropriately) through Harvard Yard, providing a history of the university, general information, and a unique view on the student’s individual experience! No matter how you ride, there's a T-Pass to meet your needs. Visit the CharlieCard Store in Downtown Crossing Station, full-service, in-station fare vending machine, or retail sales location or buy T-Passes online. *A Monthly Pass is valid for a calendar month. Note: when entering a station with a CharlieTicket or CharlieCard loaded with a daily, weekly, or monthly pass, customers cannot re-enter the station for a period of twenty minutes after the initial use. MBTA Blue Line Subway services are available to and from Downtown Boston with FREE Silver Line Bus Rapid Transit service from all Logan Airport terminals to South Station. The Providence Line Commuter Rail at South Station also offers weekday service to and from TF Green Airport. The MBTA is the most economical and environmentally friendly way to get to and from Logan. Note: Beginning Saturday, March 22, 2014, Government Center Station will be closed for two years for complete reconstruction.

Please allow an additional ten to fifteen minutes to your commute if transferring to the Blue Line from the Green Line for service to Airport Station.
