Creature Spot - The Spot for Creature Art, Artists and Fans
Hey All! I'm new around here, but my name is Nicholas Kole. I've been working in games, animation, and publishing for several years and have a big passion for imaginative and whimsical creature design! I'll be posting a bunch of stuff, probably mostly from Project Copernicus (an MMO I worked on that never saw the light of day) and I hope you guys dig it! Glad to be part of the Creaturespot community :)
Andrew Loomis was an illustrator during the golden age of illustration. Beyond producing beautiful fashion illustrations for magazines and books, his lasting contribution comes from a number of books he wrote on the fundamentals of art and illustration. His writing is clear and illuminating, and his technique beyond question. I have found each of these useful reference over the years. They have fallen out of copyright and are readily found many place on the internet.
