I decided to pick it up ... but, as I glanced thru the unimportant article information, I came to what is affectionately called "The funny pages". There I was struck by the usual crossword puzzles, word jumbles, and ... there it was - Sudoku. As someone who like to use their brain - I, years before, had to get past the hype of everyine going Sudoku crazy; wait for the trend to die down. But, ultimately, in a fit of boredom, I found my way. Since that day, they have proven a worthy challenge.

A sort of a tomboy, her parents thought they were having a boy; back in the days when no one cared to know the sex of the child before it was born... even then times were a-changin'. Her father a rather crass, etiquetteless factory worker - who was actually very intelligent without knowing it.
