Ratatat Les 2 membres de Ratatat Ratatat est un duo new-yorkais de musique électronique, constitué du guitariste Mike Stroud et du mixeur et producteur Evan Mast. Biographie[modifier | modifier le code] Leur second album "Classics" est sorti en 2006 ; toujours instrumental il apparait cependant plus varié, il introduit de nouvelles textures sonores et se porte beaucoup plus sur la guitare que le premier album, de nombreux synthétiseurs apparaissent aussi. "LP3" leur 3e opus est sorti durant l'été 2008, contraste et fait évoluer la tendance dessinée par les deux premiers albums : instrumental, exotique, aux sonorités ethno/disco et nimbé de synthétiseurs.
Les deux musiciens ont également sorti deux album de remixes de nombreux groupes ou d'artistes de hip-hop tel que Jay-Z ou Kanye West. History[edit] On October 6, 2006, Ratatat became the first band to perform a public show inside the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. On October 10, 2006, a new demo album from Ratatat titled 9 Beats was leaked online. This set of tracks does not appear on any official discography listings. 9 Beats was not an official album, the tracks consist of short instrumental electronic musical pieces and demos for their next mixtape.[3] This release was followed by another remix album, Ratatat Remixes Vol 2.
