http://www.evergreenseeds.com/ormusgreen.html Oriental mustard greens are very popular in Chinese and Vietnamese cooking and pickling. Mustard greens are resistant to low temperature and grow best in temperate/cool climates, but not good in warm conditions. Seeds are sown in early spring and fall. Some varieties may form heads or semi-heads in cold climates. Mustard has a mild flavor that will increase in pungency as the plant matures.

Alex Wellman, Reporter Sunday, September 9, 2012 Users of Chelmsford Square tennis courts in Kensal Rise will have to pay £6-per-hour Shocked tennis fans have hit out at the council after it imposed charges on a previously free court as Olympic fever gripped the country. Users of Chelmsford Square tennis courts in Kensal Rise said that they feared use of the courts would now drop off and attacked the council for ignoring the legacy of the Olympic Games to ‘inspire a generation’. According to players, the courts have been free to use for the past 30 years but this changed when a warden was spotted putting up a sign on the day of the London Olympics closing ceremony informing people that they would now be charged £6-per hour. Maurice O’Neill, who has used the courts for the past few years, said: “There was no kind of consultation, no meeting – nothing whatsoever to tell people that these charges were coming in. http://www.kilburntimes.co.uk/1.1508775

I hate chicken foot with a passion. You could put it soup or stew it; the very sight of these things makes me feel sick. But put it in a souse and add a little pepper, onions and chadon beni and all qualms about chicken foot disappears.
http://caribbeanpot.com/how-to-make-the-green-seasoning-paste-thats-so-unique-to-caribbean-cuisine/ The one key ingredient when it comes to cooking any meat or fish dish in the Caribbean, is the green seasoning mix that’s used in the marinating process. Before we go on I’d like to mention a couple things. This recipe usually calls for 2 key ingredients “shado beni” and “Spanish thyme” (aka podina), both of which I can’t get readily get here in Canada, unless I source out a Thai or Caribbean specialty store.
