A nota do gabinete do primeiro-ministro não adianta o tema da declaração. Passos Coelho afirmou, esta semana que, após a quinta avaliação da troika, não se poderia descartar a possibilidade de um novo aumento de impostos, embora isso não fosse desejável. O Diário Económico avança que o Governo estaria a ponderar um novo aumento do IVA em alguns bens e serviços, de forma a compensar a necessidade de reverter o corte de um dos subsídios na Função Pública. No entanto, apesar das especulações, ainda não foi possível apurar quais serão as medidas a anunciar por Passos Coelho.
