Imagine the most mind-numbing choice you’ve faced lately, one in which the possibilities almost paralyzed you: buying a car, choosing a health-care plan, figuring out what to do with your 401(k). The anxiety you felt might have been just the well-known consequence of information overload, but Angelika Dimoka, director of the Center for Neural Decision Making at Temple University, suspects that a more complicated biological phenomenon is at work. To confirm it, she needed to find a problem that overtaxes people’s decision-making abilities, so she joined forces with economists and computer scientists who study “combinatorial auctions,” bidding wars that bear almost no resemblance to the eBay version. Bidders consider a dizzying number of items that can be bought either alone or bundled, such as airport landing slots. The challenge is to buy the combination you want at the lowest price—a diabolical puzzle if you’re considering, say, 100 landing slots at LAX.
"Silent World," a photography project by Parisian artists Lucie & Simon, takes the most crowded parts of New York City, Paris, and Beijing, and alters them in a basic (but technically incredible difficult) way. We recognize Times Square, Columbus Circle, and more landmarks from our own hometown, but only barely--those usually people-clogged landmarks are now empty, totally bereft of the swarms of tourists and locals alike that give those areas their personality. Apparently the artist duo used a neutral filter "normally used by NASA for analyzing stars." The filter allows the photographers to take extra-long exposures, and then cut out any moving objects like people or cars. Check out video of the project below.

I was going to try and fit multiple tiers of talents in this post, but the level 90 talents actually deserve their own post. I can’t actually play with the level 90 talents in beta right now, since I’m level 85. However, I don’t need to play with them to know they have problems.

This system is much more accurate than calculating guild progress by scanning for player achievements * - Instant update: if you just killed a new boss, and wish to update guild progress on WoW-Heroes for your guild, you only have to click on the icon on the progress tab and it will be updated immediately.
Also, as a little side note. If you decide to edit your config file you obviously need to open it. Right click on it, click open with, and open it in notepad, word, or any other text editor. Updated for 4.0: They changed wow in 3.1 to run on more processor threads.

Sixtystone Press have made their first commercial publication for Call of Cthulhu with Investigator Weapons vol I: 1920s & 1930s . The book features a host of firearms available during the Inter-war period, including details on operation, extended game statistics and entries on flamethrowers, melee weapons, explosives and special ammunition. Investigator Weapons volume 1 also gathers together the spot rules for injury, environmental conditions, and firearms combat from many Call of Cthulhu publications, as well as introducing optional rules for enhanced play.
